Banana Operations During COVID-19 Pandemic & Las Vegas Lockdown
Lea Lana would like to take a moment to update you on the operating procedures at Lea Lana’s Bananas during COVID-19. As of Tuesday, March 17th 2020, following Governor Sisolak’s request, we immediately closed our “Brand New” doors of our store to the public. We felt that for our safety, your safety, and the safety of Las Vegas, it was best to stop all in-store interactions; to do our part of limiting the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
We are currently operating as a local gift/food/dessert curbside pickup and delivery business that is following strict coronavirus safety precautions; and we'll be continuing to operate this way until we are instructed to close down shop or able to re-open per our Governor of NV. We are taking COVID-19 very serious and taking all necessary precautions to protect ourselves and our customers. We appreciate you helping us get through this time. We are providing some FAQ’s just in case you have any additional questions.
What steps are you taking to keep everyone safe?
In the restaurant industry, sanitizing everything and washing our hands constantly is something we did prior to COVID-19 and will continue to do always. For extra cautionary measures Lea Lana has sent home 99% off her staff during this time. Currently, Lea Lana and Jaclyn are the only 2 people inside the Banana Shop and Jaclyn is the only employee operating deliveries. We are both very healthy and free of any symptoms.
How should I place an order?
We ask that all orders be placed and paid for online so there is no unnecessary transaction of money or credit cards during this time.
What are operating procedures for picking up my order?
We will send you a message when your order is ready for pickup along with instructions. We ask that you park near the Banana Shop and notify us that you have arrived. We will meet you at your car window to hand you your order.
What are operating procedures for having an order delivered to me?
If you have placed an order to be delivered to yourself, Jaclyn will ask you when she arrives if you would like for her to set it on the doorstep or if you would like it handed to you.
What are the operating procedures if I am having gifts delivered to someone else?
During normal times we are happy to surprise your receiver; however, at this time, we ask that you notify the receiver that they have a gift arriving during the time slot that you have chosen. Some people are nervous or hesitant to answer the door so knowing to expect a gift truly helps out the Banana Squad.
Should you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to call or text the Banana Line at 702-250-2432. We wish you all good health and bunches of happiness through this time and we truly look forward to seeing you in the Banana Gift Shop in the very near future.
